Last stop on our way out of sunny Las Vegas, Nevada was Amateur Electronic Supply. It wasn't too far from the strip so how could I say, "No, way Jose!" Well I couldn't and so my dear hubby got his very first Ham Radio! He took his test and earned his license, and has just been waiting until we could find a radio he liked!

Julio (KP4UZ) and Art (K7ZE) were very helpful. Julio also speaks 4 languages. That's always impressive. If you need help in German, Spanish, English or French he's your man.

Art is a member of the Morse Code Preservation Society. I didn't know there was such a thing.

Anyway, they're at 4640 S. Polaris, Las Vegas, NV 1-800-634-6227 or
