Holidays = Parties!! Wahooo!

Just got back from hubby's great company party! The Grand America in Salt Lake City, was hoppin’!! There must have been 8 other events going on it was a holiday mad house. Don’t you just love a great party? Just in case you weren’t invited to the other 8 parties.. Here’s a peek at the Grand America's Holiday Decorations.

Restoration Projects....Yes I can do that too.

I love old photos. I think they should be preserved, as I'm sure you do too. Especially when its a cherished photo. Professional Photography is such a luxury, to pay someone to come to you set up a background and take your portrait was a big deal a million years ago and still is even today. Chemicals, flashes lenses etc and not everyone knew how it all worked. Some people even thought of a photograph as some sort of voodoo. (we've come a long way 'eh?) So when it comes to restoration I take the most gentle care because these are family heirlooms that are cherished. Just as your new photographs today should be. Snapshots are fun! Scrapbooks are full of them, but you still want to use acid free everything, why wouldn't you use the best products to protect your precious memories? That's why I use Kodak Professional Papers every chance I get, its proven to endure 100 years and still retain its great color. Okay off my soap box and on to the pictures. What a Funny Guy!

This kid was Krazy! Thats right Krazy with a K..lol. We had such a great time at his shoot. Sean needed pics for his many projects and I was more than happy to take them for him. We had a great time as always and just before it starts to get really cold outside. Speaking of cold outside..don't forget our family portrait special a complementary 8 x10 if you book your shoot before November 15th! Enjoy!

The Great Food Show!!

What a fun trade show! I got to meet all sorts of folks in the food industry. It was especially fun to talk to the young folks in job corps. They were so excited about the future and no one could resist the shrimp...lol. Boy was that chicken noodle soup crazy delicious! There was a whole Route 66 theme and seemed like all the vendors had a great time. Thanks Brett for inviting me!

This family was a hoot to shoot!! I just loved 'em. We went out to Salt Air...poor thing has been loosing its glory, but we got some great shots!

Hurray!! Yes, this is Miss Sylvia and isn't she adorable? I also learned something new from her Momma too! Those pin curls are so easy, just cut a strip of baby wipe and curl leave for 30 min and viola`! Baby Curls!

Just got back from a Wonderful Workshop!!

I'm totally inspired. Joseph and Louise Simone were in Wendover, Nevada this last weekend showing their amazing talent and teaching the locals with their wonderful Portraiture skills...What an absolutely adorable couple! They argued in such an agreeable way and kept each other on track. They were simply amazing in every sense of the word. Here are a couple of pictures from our photo shoot on the Salt Flats..

The Beach....So Pretty.

Ahh....the trip to Cali, famous California! Its where they make movies ya know...oh, wait they do that here too. Good Ole Salt Lake City, rumor has it this is going to be one of the busiest film years in the state! Anyway, we don't have beaches like these here....

The Beautiful Wasatch Front!

Don't you just love Utah?!?! Its so pretty here! No matter what part of the state or what time of year! From Logan to St. George Utah and everywhere in between, just lovely. No wonder we have so many movies filmed here!

Idaho Trip

Just got back from visiting the great state of Idaho. Stayed in a lovely bed and breakfast called "The Maples" in Star. The owners are such a treat, and so nice. Here's a pick at where we stayed...great breakfast too.
